The Rock & the Hard place
William said:
Not sure what it may mean, but about twenty feet from this Florentine intersection (of a side street and what I would consider an alley) a branch of American Apparel was being installed. That's on Purgatorio. Perhaps Inferno should get a Starbucks.
I remember myself being on this same corner and uttering some then-funny witty remark...
On his video, where he speaks about his new novel Spook Country he remarks:
Technology will eventually take us to a point were something will change so much that beyond that point we will not be able to recognize any event at all and whatever that is left of us, of our species beyond that point looking back won't recognize us as being the same species.
Leaving Las Vegas
Well... I have my ticket back to India (home). I've already applied for my Visa and waiting for the approval. Soon will be time to say hello to my old friends there.
Feels good to go back there. I look forward for being close to the cows around, again, too.
I will be traveling with my new (blue) guitar and my piano. I've bought a Prosonus Firebox box wich will be enough to make some muzz wile on the move.

On the road to USA
Back to the road. This time is good for visiting parents on the "US and A". After settling down for a while in beautifully managed "Cor do Brasil", in Rio, time came -at last- to check out family matters. There's good vibes on the idea of revisiting old liasons. I've got already renewed on childhood flavors, early lost when the oyster shell times of the Start of the Path. Feels good to see small kids grown in size, older people and everything just the same and to reencounter those sensations which helped once to know better the outer stratus of this life-experience.
Sensations - USA
US flags are everywhere and the "empire" welcomed me in the easiest and nicer way. Just showing my European passsport was enough to get trough and with the standard 3 months. I started loving the country from the beginning. It's not hard to. While driving by slowly in the night, the classic neighborhoods where appearing, and we spent my first night on a friend's house in a town very similar to those I've only seen on movies up to now. The feeling of being inside the screen now is big.

Traditional music from São Luis de Maranhão, Brazil, where I'm now travelling on.
Volando sobre África
Estoy volando sobre África y el cielo parece el mismo.
Sin embargo, la sensación de pasar siquiera por encima de este continente que aún no he pisado, envuelve este corazón en olas de emoción...
Back to Volkswagens
Back to:
Volkswagens,
nice cars,
people well dressed,
clean cities,
less nature.
Familiar brands.
People talking low.
