Google Chrome’s view source "annoyance"
I’ve run into of late is that it doesn’t work very well for dynamically [POST] generated pages.
There's people rambling about it (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=1082a452e274f6db&hl=en); there's even a thread (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Chrome/thread?tid=1082a452e274f6db&hl=en) that finds a work-around, but the same simple comfort (including a quick keystroke access) found in Firefox is not there yet.
Quote from the temporary work-around:
"After reading this and poking around a bit, I found if you use the development tools (easily accessed with a right click anywhere on the page, then choose inspect element) click resources, and enable resource tracking, the first item under "Resources" on the left will be the original source, immutable and syntax highlighted. It even includes little tips about where you might have had unclosed or improperly nested tags, as well as the HTTP headers. I agree it would be great if this is what you got from "view source" but it is what we're all looking for."
I'd try with right-click > inspect element

Wildcard DNS makes it so that any subdomain redirects to your main website.
So, if anyone types randomjunk.domain.com or fakename.domain.com, it will go to http://domain.com/ .
You can add this record via cPanel by following these steps:
- Go into your cPanel, go to Subdomains.
- Add a subdomain called *
- Make sure to set the document root to your public_html folder.

Drupal - Node edit permissions quirk
For anyone having the time to code a kind of module that will include all these quirks, here it goes one that happens in Drupal very often.
Granted a role the ability to edit certain nodes, when the user log in and try to edit a page, either there's no edit tab, or the user simply can't edit the node.
If you've tried everything else (chances are you arrived here because of that, you need to grant that role permission to use whichever input type you've set for that node or set of nodes. To do so:
- Edit your node and check what input type it is set to use
- Go to Site Configuration > Input Formats and then make sure that the corresponding input type is configured to allow the role to use that type.
Sometimes a node will get set to use "Full HTML," and, in doing so, most roles are prevented from being able to edit a node that has that type assigned.
